Before you start is important to know some things:

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art, yes, a fight developed with the goal of improving the physical and combat abilities of slaves so that they could face their aggressors. Banned and considered a crime, it camouflaged itself as a dance. Today, within a context of culture, game, and fight, capoeira continues to resist the aggressions of the world and keeps the history and tradition of its ancestors alive.

Class Conduct:

1- LEARN the fundamentals, the stories and be a complete athlete, not just a practitioner.

2- CONTROL YOURSELF emotionally and don’t get carried away by the moment.

3 – NEVER misuse of the knowledge  (e.g. fights in the streets).

4 – RESPECT the rules of the martial art.

5 – ALWAYS RESPECT THE PHYSICAL AND MORAL INTEGRITY OF YOUR GAME/FIGHT PARTNERS.

6 – ALWAYS respect and REVERENCE YOUR MASTERS.

7 – TRAINING in a dedicated way (starting, executing and finishing the classes and exercises requested).

8 – LISTEN to the technical instruction, if in doubt ask at the appropriate time.

9 – KINDNESS begets kindness

10 – Leave your EGO outside the classroom.

11 – Just to reinforce the importance of item 10.

Important:

As it is a practice that has physical contact between partners, it is extremely important that the fingernails and toenails are always trimmed, as well as sanitized and disinfected before the start of training, there will always be alcohol gel available with the teachers if you do not have it in your training bag.
